correct. you can also go to Manage Quick Sight → Manage Assets and share those assets with yourself to see them in the UI

Hi @rangpava - Thanks for your continued engagement on this question to drive it to resolution. I’m marking the most appropriate response from the thread as solution.
@rangpava, @ineedqshelp - Adding on couple of points.
- You can add a prefix to the resource ids using PrefixForAllResources in override-parameters if you do need to change the resource id (like for importing a copy into same account).
- I think last response is not fully in context of last question. The import job really makes new assets in target account (It is not sharing the asset from source account). What @rangpava was pointing out is that the new assets created in target account doesn’t have their permissions opened up by default. That is why you aren’t able to see them in UI after import. You got to grant permission to yourself (for created assets on target account) to be able to see them.

Do you know what this error means? I’m trying to import a dataset, and I don’t think our datasource is currently being updated, can’t figure out how to fix this error.
