QS bundle export API

We are trying to export an analysis using “start-bundle-export-job” CLI command, and getting and error as below:

"Errors": [
    {
        "Arn": "arn:aws:quicksight:us-east-1:111111111111:vpcConnection/VPC-Connection-Name",
        "Type": "com.amazonaws.services.quicksight.model.InvalidParameterException",
        "Message": "NetworkInterfaces should have more than 1 item for VPC connection VPC-Connection-Name"
    }
]

The data source here is a Redshift table created in a VPC.

Appreciate any help on this matter

Hi @sravan.jalluri

The error you’re encountering, "NetworkInterfaces should have more than 1 item for VPC connection VPC-Connection-Name", typically indicates that the Amazon QuickSight VPC connection requires at least two subnets (network interfaces) configured in the VPC for high availability. When only one subnet is configured, QuickSight treats it as an invalid configuration, leading to this issue.

Please refer the below documentation this might be helpful for you.

Hi @Xclipse,

Our VPC is configured with 2 subnets, one in us-east-1a and another in us-east-1b. Not sure if we are missing anything here.

Hi @sravan.jalluri

sorry, I’m out of ideas. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
