No Trino data source card in QuickSight console

I have seen that QuickSight can now be able to connect with Trino and is available in Mumbai region, but why there is no data source card available in quicksight console for Trino in Mumbai Region ?

Hi @Vaibhav_Patidar - Welcome to AW QuickSight community and thanks for posting the question. Yes, you are right for Mumbai region, trino connector is not visible. We have to raise this as a bug.

Hi @ErikG @duncan - Can you please raise a defect to AWS QuickSight team for the same. Trino connector is not available for Mumbai region.

My assumption based on the article below is that this will be rolled out in your Region soon. Personally, I have seen it take some time for a new feature to rollout to every region after the announcement.

Amazon QuickSight now supports direct connectivity to Trino

AWS does not provide roadmaps on when launches of new products or updates will happen but you can always create a customer support ticket if you believe that you should have access to this.
