Paginated report from a direct query dataset

I’ve created a paginated report that is based on a direct query dataset. The goal is to send a CSV file on a schedule. When I try to send a test email, I get the following error:

If I create a report based on a SPICE dataset everything works fine. There’s no information in the documentation about inability to use direct query datasets for paginated reports

When you created the paginated report on a direct query dataset, did you run into any load time errors?

You should be able to create a paginated report from a direct query dataset so In my opinion you should create an AWS support ticket. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
