Paginated Reports PDF graphs/charts are not pixel perfect!

Hello,

The graphics and charts produced by Quicksight Paginated Reports appear to lack pixel-perfect precision. Is this inconsistency a known limitation of this Quicksight feature? Although the feature is promoted as offering pixel-perfect accuracy, the graphics and charts —a fundamental component of Quicksight— seem to deviate from this standard.

Here’s an example:

Hello @acastillo,

Welcome to the QuickSight Community! It is great to have you here!

From our documentation:

Paginated reports are also referred to as pixel perfect because they are formatted for exact paper sizes and you can control page layout exactly.

As you are showing an example of a visualization, are you refering to the image definition/quality of the visual?

Kind regards,
Andres.

Hi Andres,

You are correct. I’m referring to the definition/quality of all graphs and charts produced by Quicksight Paginated Reports. I’m wondering if this is an issue on our end or if this is the expected quality of all the graphs and charts.

As you can see from the provided example, graphs and charts lack definitions which compromises the quality of the generated report.

Here’s another example of a graph inside a report produced by Quicksight Paginated Reports

Thanks in advance!

Hi Andres,

You are right, the images are not as clear as the text of the titles, especially when zoomed in.

At AWS, our roadmap is primarily driven by our customers. Your feedback helps us build a better service. I have tagged this as a feature request.

Kind regards,
Andres.
