Paginated Reports - Where can I see how many reports I have left and what constitutes as 1 generated PDF?


I have two questions regarding the Paginated report feature:

  1. I was wondering if I can see how many report units I have used so far from the monthly limit? In the admin dashboard I can’t find that information

  2. What action(s) would count as 1 report being used/billed?
    *Is it when you generate the PDF from the dashboard UI?
    *Is it when you set up a schedule and QS generates the PDF content automatically in the dashboard UI?
    *Is it when the PDF is being emailed to a user based on a schedule?
    *Is it when I generate the PDF from the analysis?

For the first part of your question, I don’t believe there is a way to check that in the current UI other than seeing how many many individual users are going to receive your paginated report. I would recommend checking the CUR in your console to see what your current costs from Quicksight. I can mark that as a feature request for the Quicksight team.

On the second part of your question, my understanding is that every email you send out or the times that the paginated report is downloaded that it counts as a report being consumed.
