I am using 2 datasets and incremental refresh. The filters are connected to parameters and are the same for all tabs, so in theory, the values should be the same.
The problem is that one Name (String) is displayed in the pivot table but is not available in the drop-down menu to select as a filter. However, when I click on the second tab, it is displayed in the drop-down menu. Then, when I go back to the first tab, it is listed at the end.
I tried changing the DB linked parameter to the 1st or 2nd DB, but the result is always the same as mentioned above.
The problem occurs on the day when we add a new value with incremental reload to this column. On the second day or after the second incremental reload, the data is ok.
Do you have any ideas for a solution or do you know where I might have missed something?
Didn’t noticed on full refresh that some would be missing.
One idea that I need to test is that END date filter is set on mMonday of current week. Maybe initial load confuses it. So if new Name is added on Thursday and when I open dashboard will load only up to monday…
Hi, I have even worse problem now. Now I can see customer in dropdown in backend/edit analyses fine just at dashboard they are not visible with same parameters. Client is new and just added to list via Redshift incremental load.
Any advises how to get them to the dashboard drop down as well?
add: DB is incrementaly reloded and new ID’s loads fine. Problem is with names which are linked to another DB which is joined to this main DB. Full refresh always solves the problem just is not an option to do it each day!
