PDF document that provides detailed explanations

Hi,

I am currently working with AWS QuickSight and have connected it to my dataset. So far, the AI-powered function has been fetching data accurately, which is great! However, I would like to enhance the experience by adding context to each variable and explaining the methodology behind the data.

I already have a PDF document that provides detailed explanations for each variable and describes the methodology. My goal is to make this information available to the AI within QuickSight, so it can use the context and explanations when interpreting queries or providing insights.

Has anyone done something similar or have any advice on how to approach this? Specifically, I am looking for suggestions on:

  1. How to upload or integrate this contextual information into QuickSight.

  2. Whether there are any best practices for structuring the information to make it most useful for the AI function.

  3. Any tools or techniques that can help in linking the PDF content to the variables in QuickSight.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your support!

Hi @ISCA,
Good timing on your topic inquiry! AWS has updated QuickSight features, which will all be located within what is now called Quick Suite.
Two of these new features can be utilized to handle the requested scenario.
With Spaces, you can now store unstructured data along with your QuickSight assets like dashboards, topics, etc.
There’s also a new Chat Agent feature. These can be synced up to a space so that they focus on answering questions specifically from information located within your space. It can pull from structured and unstructured data to answer your questions.
I’ve included the documentation below for getting started with both Spaces and Chat Agents
