Pixel Perfect Repeating Sections Show “No Data” in Analysis View, Break PDF Export

I’m encountering a potential bug in Quick Sight Pixel Perfect reports involving repeating sections.

  • Visuals configured inside repeating sections return “No Data” in the Analysis view
  • The same visuals display data correctly outside of repeating sections
  • Re-applying the repeat dimension temporarily restores visuals, but the issue returns on:
    • Refreshing the report
    • Changing report parameters (each section is tied to a standalone dataset filtered by parameters)

This issue is also causing the PDF export to silently fail with:

“Unable to generate PDF. Please try again in a few minutes.”

This behavior is blocking a key reporting use case

Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds or planned fixes?

Hello @Dave_LeBlanc

I noticed you have filters on the report, is there any chance you that you are filtering our values that are used in your repeating section? I’m curious if you filter for something that has no data for that field if it breaks the repeating section.
