Is there a way to put points on a filled map? I’m trying to create a visualization like the one below.

At this time, you could achieve this by using Quicksight free form layout where you could use solid map and then overlap it with point map as a workaround.

This doesn’t work, the background for the map can be set to transparent, but the map can’t. so when you overlay the points map over the filled map it covers up the filled map. If the map could be made transparent too, AND you can synch up the zoom level this would work.
Has Amazon come up with something else?
Ideally, Amazon would allow placement of map points (and all the functionality for them) onto a filled map.
