Product: Amazon Quick (Web, Desktop, Mobile)
Category: Localization / Language Support
Priority: High (for Polish-market deployment)

Summary
We request the addition of Polish (pl) as a supported language in Amazon Quick, covering the user interface (UI) and, ideally, natural-language / Q&A capabilities, across all three clients: Quick Web, Quick Desktop, and Quick Mobile.

Current State
As of July 2026, Amazon Quick supports 15 UI languages: Danish, German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese, Finnish, Swedish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Polish is not among them.

In addition:
Language selection currently translates UI elements only — it does not translate reserved keywords, user input, data, date/number formats, or ML Insights / narrative computations.
The natural-language Q&A feature (Quick Suite Q) currently only supports English for both questions and responses.

Business Need & Justification
Polish user base. Our organization and end users operate primarily in Polish. An English-only (or non-Polish) interface creates a significant adoption barrier and increases the risk of misinterpretation for non-fluent users.

Market expansion. Poland is a large EU market. Native-language support is frequently a procurement and compliance prerequisite for enterprise and public-sector adoption.
Parity with existing EU language coverage. Quick already supports numerous European languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Nordic languages, Portuguese). Adding Polish is a natural extension of that coverage.

Reduced training and support cost. Native-language UI and Q&A reduce onboarding friction, support tickets, and reliance on ad-hoc translation.

Requested Capabilities (in priority order)
Polish UI localization across Quick Web, Quick Desktop, and Quick Mobile — menus, buttons, labels, settings, and system messages.

Polish date, number, and currency formatting aligned with Polish locale conventions (e.g., comma decimal separator, space thousands separator, DD.MM.YYYY dates).

Polish-language document generation and narrative insights where applicable.

Scope Notes
We understand UI localization and NLP/Q&A support are separate engineering efforts. UI localization alone would already deliver substantial value and is our minimum ask.
Consistency across Web, Desktop, and Mobile is important — a per-client discrepancy would be confusing for users.

Success Criteria
Polish (pl) appears in the language selector across all clients.
Users can complete core workflows entirely in a Polish UI.

Impact if Not Addressed
Slower or blocked adoption of Amazon Quick within Polish-speaking teams.
Continued reliance on English-language workflows for non-fluent users, increasing error risk and support load.
