Proportional Bar Display in a Table

Hi,
I’m trying to create bars within a table and have encountered two issues:

  1. Why do the lengths of the bars for suppliers with a value of 1% appear different from each other?
  2. Is there a way to configure the bars to display proportionally relative to the maximum value (100%)? For example, I want the bars to represent their true value compared to 100%, rather than having the largest value (e.g., 5%) appear completely filled.

I’d appreciate your help!
Thank you in advance,
Noy

Hi @Noys

  1. i would guess Rotem 1% is something like 1,05 and Hadera is something like 1,49. Maybe you can add some decimals?
  2. i dont know how. but would would be the 100%?

Hi @ErikG
Thank you so much for your reply!

  1. You’re absolutely right, thanks for the clarification.
  2. I assume you meant to ask what the 100% would be. The 100% will represent a value that I plan to insert into an additional row as the total.

Please let me know if you have any further thoughts or conclusions.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Noys,
To my understanding, this type of functionality is not currently available within QuickSight. Additional flexibility for adding bar graphs on table fields would be a nice addition so I’ll add this as a feature request.

Let us know if you have any additional questions or if you were able to incorporate a nice work around solution for your case. If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.

Thank you!

Hi @Noys,
Since I’ve marked this as a feature request and we have not heard back, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic. However, if you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new post in the community.

Thank you!
