I have a usecase where a dashboard that has been created on a different account and region and has been embedded. I would like to use the embedded url so as to display that external dashboard within a dashboard in my account. Is this possible ?
Dashboard Embedded -Created in Account A and region us-west-1
Target Dashboard - Account B and region us-east-1

My question was directed towards embedding a dashboard from “another quicksight
account and region” within a dashboard . The link provided does not address this usecase.
Hi @alexresh - Thanks for the info. I have not tested it but I think it should work the same way one dashboard embedded to an external application. Did you try that approach. However you need white list of the second QuickSight URL in first one, not sure what is the exact address you have to white list ( for this, can you please raise a ticket to AWS customer support team - see the link how to raise a ticket - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awssupport/latest/user/case-management.html0
Also find one document link the steps how you can embedded a QS dashboard to an application ( if you already followed this, you can ignore)
