I am trying to set up automated permissions to my Quicksight Dashboard. Do I need to create a separate LDAP group or team? I’ve created both but not sure where to go from there. Would someone be able to assist?
What do you mean by automated permissions? Sharing it with everyone in the account? You can click this.
is there a way where the dashboard can be given permission to certain teams or groups in our organization? right now they have to ask for permission(s) to see the dashboard as it is very confidential information. Is there any way to make it more automated for these users?
You could give them access and lock down information via RLS.
You can also look into using the cli if you want more programmatic access to the dashboards.
