Quicksight data parse error for invalid dates

I am facing an error with my date columns when visualizing the data in quicksight. It gives me the following error: “Amazon Quicksight cannot parse the data because it contains invalid dates or invalid numbers. Make sure your data contains only supported numbers and date formats.

This error does not occur with all date columns. Like for example for one of my date columns “Last Updated Date” it displays the values properly however for another date column “first response date” it gives me the above error.

While formatting the above two date columns, when I try to validate the above two date columns in the quicksight dataset, it shows that it is validated and does not report any error.

One reason which I think could be that “Last Updated date” always has a date value mentioned but the “first response date” sometimes contains an empty value. Could this be the case? How do I fix this issue to ignore the empty values and simply display as an empty field.
