Quicksight dataset calculated field doesn’t allow LAC but i can do it in Analysis. This requires changes in analysis, Can you help us when this feature or workaround can be available.
i’m using calculated field max(mysqldatasources, [siteid, date]) in analysis and it is working but the same formula not works in dataset.
Sorry, LAC is currently not supported directly in calculated fields at the dataset level. LAC can only be used in visuals and analyses because it requires dynamic evaluation that depends on the context of the visual or aggregation level. As you mentioned, LAC works in the analysis layer, so for now, you can continue using it there.
