Hi Team,
I need assistance as I’m tried creating a Pivot in paginated report and spitted using repeating sections based on a dimension so that it creates multiple pages for each section and the end user should be able to download the data in CSV or in excel but currently there are no options to do other than PDF. If applied Repeating sections on a table, it is not allowing to download it as an excel or a CSV.
So, I would like to understand is this something QS is working and going to implement in the future or if there is an alternate workaround to achieve the same.
Hi @Sriselvaraj24 and welcome to the QuickSight community!
Yes, you are correct that this is a current limitation within QuickSight. At AWS, our roadmap is primarily driven by our customers, your feedback helps us build a better service. I have tagged this as a feature request as I agree that this would be a helpful addition!
While it’s a bit different, one work around you could try is instead of exporting paginated reports, you can export the underlying data from the analysis or dataset as that allows csv and excel exports and filters can segment your data how you’d like.
