Quicksight uses UTC for the relative date filters, but I’m in UTC-3 and if I use a relative date filter for this day, when it’s 9pm in America/Sao_paulo timezone the analysis changes to the next day because its already the next day in UTC.
Anyone know how to fix it?
we use a calculated field (using the addDateTime function) in the dataset that adjusts for the number of timezones between our local timezone and UTC (our datasource is redshift). Then we exclude the original timestamp from the dataset so that the users don’t by mistake use the original field in a new analyis.
