QuickSight UI Lagging (Console Analysis & Embedded Dashboard Experience)

Hi -

We have recently started noticing issues where the browser page locks up frequently and intermittently. Reviewing the Console logs, it appears to be throwing JS errors similar to the ones noted here in the git project

Are other users experiencing similar experiences?

Below are a sample of some error messages we are frequently seeing. I’m unsure what might be the cause of these errors, and whether it’s something unique to the datasets being used for this dashboard, or some type of bug in QuickSight. Often the lagging begins when moving visuals or toggling to different visuals, or applying filters quickly on the dashboard.

During UAT testing this week of an upcoming embedded dashboard release, we received numerous feedback on slow refreshing, and so we are looking to find a resolution on this issue before we release our new reporting capabilities built on QS.

Have you opened a support ticket already ? if not, I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
