Suppose an organization has QuickSight datasets pulling data from two separate RDS instances. They are planning to consolidate these RDS instances into one. Is it possible to simply redirect their existing QuickSight datasets to point to the new consolidated RDS host? The goal would be to maintain all current dataset configurations, including columns and calculations, without having to rebuild anything. Ideally, the only change needed would be updating the source connection to point to the new RDS host. How feasible is this approach, and what potential challenges might arise?
