Over the past couple of days, we started to observe the “Add forecast” appearing on bar chart visuals. Is there a way to disable the “Add forecast” button through publishing options?

You can’t disable it for the analysis.
Hi, Max. Thanks for helping here. In addition to the Analyses, I see it on the bar chart visuals (with a DateTime x-axis) within the Dashboards in the us-east-2 region. I am looking to see if there is a way to disable only the “Add forecast” button while keeping the “Export to CSV” and “View summary data” options on these dashboard visuals.
It is not possible to single out one while having the others.
I’ll mark it as a feature request.
