I created a dataset where extraneous blank columns were collected (ex. Column-60 and Column-61). I have updated the underlying SPICE file and no longer have blank columns. However, when I try to refresh the dataset, I get the following error:
“Multiple fields are missing. Revise file and try again.”
I attempted to “Exclude” these fields, but am still receiving the error.
How can I tell the Dataset not to look for these columns anymore?
Hi @madwrig - Welcome to AWS QuickSight community and thanks for posting the question. Are you facing the issue with FULL refresh? Also what is your data source. If you can share some screenshot that will also help in understanding the problem. Please share some more details around it.
Hi @madwrig,
It’s been awhile since we last heard from you. Are you still encountering the same issues and if so, are you able to share additional information as requested above or were you able to find a work around for your case?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic.
