Rename QuickSight account name

Hi all. Is it possible to rename an existing AWS QuickSight account name? If not, is it something on the backlog? Still, if we wanted, could we create a new QuickSight account on the same AWS account with a different name? Would we need to migrate all stuff manually?

I do not see an easy way to achieve this :frowning: Recently I needed to migrate the region of QuickSight for one account and ended up creating scripts to migrate all objects (datasets, analyses, dashboards, users, groups and permissions) to a new account. It’s a little clunky but it works… I suppose you’d need to do the same. It would be nice if QuickSight provided an easier way to do this.

There is not a current way to do this. I’ll surface this to the appropriate team as a feature request though
