Resetting user passwords

Is there any way to reset a user’s password on quicksight? A user in my work group, not my own password.

When you go to Manage Quick Sight > Manage Users, do you see a “Reset password” link for the user?

Thanks @David_Wong . This is the way we usually reset the password for the user and user will get a link for the same.

Hi @ineedqshelp - I do not think you can reset the user password via boto3 API? It has to be done via UI layer as far I understand, but let’s listen from other experts.

Why me and my users DO NOT receive password reset links? I tried to do it thru mobile app or by the link in Quick Sight manage page - nothing been received!

Hi @danial,

That “Reset password” link is displayed only for other users in your Quick account. It’s not displayed for you.

If you want to reset your own password, use the “Forgot password?” link on the Login page.
