As a Quicksight dashboard owner, it would be great to have the ability to test RLS for dashboards and whether RLS has been implemented correctly so that our team can avoid unintended access to confidential data and secondly, ability to triage user with access issues. Owners of the data source should be able to “sudo” as another user.

@duncan Unfortunately no. Looking to be a sudo user so that after testing we can perform validation as one of our users, not a power user. This is to see the RLS as intended in dashboard and datasets.

One way you can test is by using the API to get a dashboard embed URL for the user you want to impersonate.
You don’t need to embed it. You can simply enter that URL in your browser and you’ll see their view of the dashboard.
