Climate Data Bangladesh Analysis
Hello, I started learning Quicksight recently. I don’t have access to the paid version, made my first analysis on the community arena. The functionalities of arena are very limited.
How can I make my analysis better even within the range of limited features?

This is a great dashboard. Here is some feedback, some of which is just my own preferences.
- Conflicting KPIs: Clarify why daily temperature increases while monthly averages decrease. Add explanatory context to resolve confusion.
- Color Usage: Use intuitive colors (e.g., red/orange for warming, blue for cooling) or avoid colors that do not aid in insights.
- Year Formatting: Fix tooltip formatting for years (e.g., avoid “2,022” style).
- KPI Segmentation: Add headers to separate daily, monthly, and yearly metrics for quick user understanding.
- KPI Titles: Remove “Increase/Decrease” from titles since the KPI values and arrows already communicate this information.
- Visualization Insights: Ensure all visuals align with the insights being conveyed; current charts need clearer guidance for interpretation.

This way of thinking helps with the current dashboard and any other dashboards I work on in the future.
