Setting up threshold alerts on Forecast

Hello,

I have set up a CUDOS dashboard using CURs. I would like to set up forecast to view forecasted spend for the upcoming months. This is possible by adding a forecast insight and viewing it as a line chart. I would also like to set a threshold alert, let’s say for the next month. Meaning, it should alert if the forecasted spend for the next month is crossing the threshold. However, I am not able to set up alert on line chart. It seems to be possible only for KPI, Guage, and tables.

Is there any way to somehow represent forecast as KPI? Or to set an alert on line chart? To me it seems like a useful feature.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Komal

Hi @Komal

Currently only KPI’s, Gauges and tables can set up an alert.

I can mark this as a feature request.

Have you looked into anomaly detections?

Hi @Max ,

Thank you for your reply. Since my datasets have RLS, anamoly detection cannot be applied. It would be nice if you can mark this as a feature request.

One more question, would Quicksight Q be helpful to implement what I want to do?

Thanks and regards,
Komal

Hi @Komal I’ll mark it as a feature request.

In regards to QuickSight Q. Q would not be able to alert someone based on a forecasted chart.
