We have a bunch of client groups set up in the “manage groups” section. Let’s say we have Client1, Client2 and Client3 groups. When Client1 wants to share a dashboard with other users at Client1 we can’t have them seeing Client2 or Client3 in the ‘invite users and group’s to dashboard’ search box. The way it works now is when Client1 types in ‘Cl’ for Client1 the search returns Client1, Client2 and Client3. Client1 can’t know who our other clients are, neither can Client2 or 3. How can we limit this search box to only show the groups that this client belongs to? Is this possible?
I’m not aware if IAM can be used to restrict the users that your clients can see in QuickSight. If it’s an option, I imagine it would be more complicated to set up than namespaces. One of the main use cases of namespaces is multi-tenancy, especially when you give your clients console access.
