I have seen some questions dating back to 2022 about introducing the ability to sort filter or parameter values in descending order. The comments mention that it has been marked as a feature request, do we have an update for it?

Hello @ckofterou, this feature has not yet been implemented. The dropdowns will always populate A-Z. The only work-around I have created is when displaying custom filter lists, and numbering each row 01-10 based on the order I want them to return.
