Hi, I’m Soumitra Dutta, an entrepreneur and photographer living in Oxford. I’m working on a dashboard in Amazon QuickSight, and I’m running into issues with some calculated fields, filters, and aggregations—they aren’t returning the results I expect.
Do you have any tips, best practices, or strategies for debugging these kinds of problems in QuickSight? Any guidance on common mistakes to check or tools/techniques to troubleshoot would be really helpful.
I think coming to the quick community is a great start! Chances are if you run into any problem, most common problems have been discussed or solved on this platform. Beyond that, I would say your next course of action depends on the problems that you are trying to solve. There are a ton of resources on this site as well as more information can be found within AWS documentation. Lastly, if you are really having a difficult time trying to solve a problem, you can always pose your question here in the Q&A and either I or one of the other experts will try to direct you to the right answer or help find a solution with you.
