This is already launched, you should see improvement in dataset ingestion performance by up to 4x with parallel ingestion.

The new enhanced ingestion performance is now available in Amazon QuickSight Standard and Enterprise Editions in all QuickSight regions - US East (N. Virginia and Ohio), US West (Oregon), Canada, Sao Paulo, Europe (Frankfurt, Stockholm, Paris, Ireland and London), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), and the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region.

Thanks! Just wanted to confirm coz I did not seem improvement in the ingestion time. Our account is in us-east-1.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. The Spice Control Plane dynamically allocates computational resources for parallel ingestion, guided by a specific policy. Currently, large datasets with many string columns are the primary beneficiaries of this parallel ingestion feature. However, we are continuously refining our policy to enhance support for datasets of regular sizes. We are optimistic that by the end of December or January of the following year, you will notice more improvements in our service.
