Is there a way to update data for a single tenant in SPICE without affecting the others, considering that our source dataset in Athena is partitioned by tenant_id? What is the best approach for managing SPICE synchronization in a multi-tenant application?
Hi @Mykhailo_Sorochev,
Currently, the only way to change the level of data that gets refreshed would be through a date format and an incremental refresh.
At AWS, our roadmap is primarily driven by our customers, your feedback helps us build a better service. I’ll go ahead and tag this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
Hi @Mykhailo_Sorochev,
Following up here as it’s been awhile since we last heard from you; while I’ve marked this as a feature request, I wanted to check and see if you had any additional comments or questions?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
Thank you!
Hi @Mykhailo_Sorochev,
Since we have not heard back, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic. However, if you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new post in the community.
Thank you!
Thank you @Brett ! Sorry, I missed your answer. You just confirmed that there is no alternative to what you have. But the biggest issue with refresh on my mind - we can’t update or delete part of data in SPICE. So to do this we have to update all dataset. We don’t have thousands of customers so far, but when we will, we will need to do something with that.
