Hi Team, I’m trying to create a calculated field that will let me count unique entries in a particular data type, divided chronologically. The entries in the data type vary from 1 to 26.
I’ve tried to use the split function, but the position element of the calculation prevents this.
Any ideas?

Could you provide an example of what the field or your dataset looks like? Are you using split because the data is stored as a long string?
Hi @duncan, the data is indeed stored in a long string, by way of example:
Spain,United Kingdom,Hungary,Germany
The length of the strings varies from one to 24 entries.

After doing some tests I’m not sure that QuickSight can handle this well. If possible I would try to do this in SQL .
