SQL Exception Error After Organization Relocation – Infrastructure or Query Issue

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with one of my analyses in QuickSight. A SQL custom query that previously worked without issue is now failing, and I’m getting an SQL exception message (screenshot attached).

The query was working before I even exported a report successfully, but the problem started after my organization moved to a new location. I’m trying to determine whether this error is likely due to an infrastructure change (network, database configuration, permissions, connectivity, etc.) or if something in the query itself could be failing.

Has anyone experienced something similar? What should I check first to determine whether the issue is due to the database environment or the query?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @toss,

Hope everything is well! Just to confirm, is your database by chance connected to a VPC? If so, I would definitely look into that configuration as because of the relocation, you may need to reconfigure it to match those new connection parameters. If that is not the case, please let me know so we can look into other potential reasons!

Thank you!
