Tableau like relationship functionality availability in QuickSight

Hi All,

We are going to start with Tableau to QuickSight dashboard migration project and we are comparing the functionalities available in Tableau with QuickSight and among them one of the functionality is of creating relationships in data source that is creating a One to One, One to Many, Many to Many and vice versa relationships.
I was exploring QuickSight but was not able to come across any functionality like this so if anyone knows any workaround for this functionality kindly let me know.

Hi Arpit,

QuickSight does not provide One-to-Many, Many-to-Many kind of relationships when creating datasets. Its a feature request that many have asked for, but is currently not supported.

As you must have already seen you can use Inner, Left Outer, Right Outer joins.

Unfortunately, this functionality is not available in QS as of now, but you can achieve this on the backend either depending on the DataSource you were using.

Hi @arpitarorait3016 - As per my understanding the requested functionality ( kind of dimensional modelling) is added in the feature request and it will come in future deliverables. I believe it is in product road map.
