Hi all,
For those that attended the webinar today we had the final demonstration of creating a dashboard with CloudFormation and it didn’t work on the call 
I found the issue! It was because the quicksight account I was deploying to was in a VPC.
If you use that same template in an account without a VPC or have Cloudformation peer into that VPC: more information here
Then it should work!
