Hi @revsp , is this error preventing you from creating the calculated field completely, or does it create the calculated field and then show the error when trying to access/preview the field?
Can you elaborate on where you see this error and steps that produce it?

Just checking back in to see you your question is still unresolved or if you found a solution in the meantime.
Typically, this error is more commonly throw when there’s an issue with the field reference itself, the aggregation context, or when you’re trying to use a calculated field in an unsupported way.
If you’re trying to do some type of aggregation on a specific measure, then you can avoid the calculated field approach and simply click on the field within the data fields tab. In there, you can further break down how the topic will treat the field and even tell the topic what type of aggregation it should do for that field. Refer to the screenshot below on how to assign the aggregation:
