we are currently evaluating whether a usage-based subscription model for the reader role is more suitable for our use cases than a user-based subscription model.
We are currently in a test phase of the monthly usage-based subscription model, however, we can not see the total amount of sessions until today.
Is there a way to track the number of reader sessions day-to-day?
If you are looking for a way to see how many reader sessions have been used from the monthly packs, you can use the reader capacity usage type in Cost Explorer.
If you are looking for the number of sessions your current reader users are consuming daily, I do not see a usage type that can give you this information, for this, I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
