I have a requirement to add a dimension field to the colour field well of Treemap visual. However, I’m able to see to add only measure to the colour field well. Is there any option/workaround for my requirement?

While the field well says to ‘add a measure’, it can accept dimensions in certain situations as well. Could you share the dimension field that you’re trying to add…is it a calculated field?

Yes it is a calculated field. If I add the calculated field dimension to the colour field well, it takes it as count/ distinct count.
However my requirement is to bring different colour for each dimension and here it gives colour based on the count/ distinct count only

I understand. Unfortunately that is a current limitation when it comes to utilizing colors in a tree map.
