I have a dataset connected from Snowflake called “daily,” which includes a field named “DATE” that Quicksight recognizes as a Date type. I recently added a new column to this dataset, let’s call it “Daily_2.” However, when I connect to “Daily_2,” Quicksight imports the “DATE” field as a string. I’m unable to view the data preview, and it also doesn’t allow me to change the field type to Date. Do you have any solutions for this issue?

the error message says timeout error. would you be able to check on Snowflake log to see what query was sent from QuickSight and to look into the details?
