Background: We conduct compliance audits across the world (some systems hold data in the country of data-origin and for others we are working on the regionalization). We have dashboards that are developed in amazonbi Quicksight. These dashboards need to consolidate the view/data across countries because of how our business/leadership is structured. The Quicksight instance we use is “amazonbi” standard Amazon quicksight instance but the data is stored in our warehouse in NA.
Question: What should we do to ensure that we are compliant with various Privacy and Compliance policies while showing the required data in our dashboards.

I’m not sure that QuickSight has any specific guidelines on data residency but for the most part as long as data remains stored in the origin region it can be accessed outside of it as well.
