I wish to execute new filters to the same dashboard every time an API is called - which is the best way to do this. The filters will mostly be like this:
field1 = value1 AND field2=value2 AND (field3=value3-a OR field3=value3-b)
or similar. The columns with field1/field2/field3 are present in dataset and analysis from which dashboard is created. How to ensure new filters are executed every time in latest version of dashboard, without having older filters applied on latest version.

I want to clarify the functionality first. Are you changing the actual dataset field that is being utilized in the control dropdown or are you wanting to set a different value to a filter when the update is made. Is it updating the user selection or just updating something like a parameter value to determine the content that is being displayed?
