Upload from Smartsheet to Quicksight

What is the plausibility and process for auto-updating from Smartsheet to Quicksight?

Your insights are greatly appreciated!

Hi @deamarty
for all who don’t want to learn smart sheet first.
How and where are the data stored?
But as it doesn’t exists a connector in QS I guess you have to extract the data somehow.

@deamarty ,

Checking in . We have not heard back from you regarding your question. We’d still like to help. If we do not hear back in the next 3 days, we will archive the question.

Based on the comment above, there is no link from Smartsheet to Quicksight.
The response shifted from the request to an unrelated question regarding the where the data was stored.
The data is stored in Smartsheet. Without a bridge to Quicksight, and alternative method of downloading from Smartsheet then uploading to Quicksight is utilized.

Hi @deamarty
so your problem is solved?
Could you please solve the topic as well?

The ask if there was a process for updating Smartsheet to Quicksight.
The answer was Smartsheet does not exist as a connector.
Although the question is answered the problem is not solved.
There is no auto-update from Smartsheet to Quicksight.
An alternative process regarding downloading the data in to a QS supported format, is required.
Is there any information on a potential future bridge from Smartsheet to QS without requiring data extraction from Smartsheet to another format?

@deamarty ,

There is no direct integration with QuickSight. The possibility exists using Amazon Appflow (Smartsheet connector for Amazon AppFlow - Amazon AppFlow ) and bringing the data to S3 . You can then visualize using QuickSight.

I will tag question as a feature request and archive it.
