I want to use a Parameter in control section to feed in user input value & use that value in a calculated field. But when I try this is QS, some random value is showing up in corresponding calculated field. Can someone help me out with this?
I have used Integer data type in parameter & control options is Text field.

hi Brett, it is something very simple actually. I tried alternate approach to just show the same value of user input into Parameter but that also shows some random values
Field1 = parameter / actual fte
Field2 = parameter
Actual fte is a field already available in the dataset

Ok, so want to make sure I understand correctly.
You have setup an integer parameter that is then being used in a calculated field. That calculated field is giving you an incorrect outcome?
Can you provide some screenshot examples so that I can see what you’re inputting and receiving to test this out? Also, Thank you for explaining your calculated field but a if you could include a screenshot of that as well, that would be great. Just want to make sure I have all the information so that we can see where the error is coming from.
