Users can log in using e-mail address

When registering a user you can assign a username different from the email address.
The user gets an invitation email and is directed to the log in page where it states to provide email address or username and password.
For some reason they can only log in using the username .
This gets confusing for the user as the username in not provided in the invitation email.
Is this intentional? Has anyone noticed this problem am I missing something?

hi @Dom ,
when user receive the email, they should be able to their email address and user name. When they login, they need to input the username in there.

Email address is not a unique identified in QuickSight. So that the same email address can have multiple QuickSight user account.
