I have a dashboard that I co-own and I have created a schedule for my readers/users to subscribe to for e-mail reports. I’ve had some feedback where some users can see and subscribe to the schedule however there are others who have reported they cannot view any schedule available and have the have the message “Want prepared content sent to your inbox? Ask your authors to create a schedule for you”
The schedule exists in my account and I’ve checked on other other users and the schedule still exists there too so I am trying to find out why some users can and and others can’t see this. Would you know how to help with this?
Users unable to see or subscribe to schedule but I can see it still exists? (as well as other users)
Hi @sychantamazon - Welcome to AWS QuickSight and thanks for posting the question. Ideally the dashboard owner and co-owner should create schedules for the dashboard. Is reader of the dashboard able to create schedule? Please confirm.
Tagging @David_Wong for his expert advise.

Hi @Sanjeeb2022
Thanks for responding!
I have created a schedule that most users can see and they have the option to subscribe to it but some users cannot see any schedules that I make nor do they have the option to make their own.
Cheers
Hi @sychantamazon - Thanks, to do the details investigation, this require some analysis to understand the symptom why some set of users are not able to see the schedule. Can you please raise a ticket to AWS customer support team so that they can see the issue by screen share. To raise the ticket, please follow the link - Creating support cases and case management - AWS Support
Hi @Max @Koushik_Muthanna - Any expert advise on this.
Regards - Sanjeeb
@sychantamazon - If the Creating or updating email reports restriction is applied to users via Custom permissions (from Management panel), they won’t be able to see/enroll to schedules. Please cross check if you have any custom permissions in play and if not, please create a ticket as suggested in above post by Sanjeeb.
