Using an API call to modify Paginated Report Parameters

My question, which I am guessing is a no - is it possible to modify the default parameters at report run-time when using an API call to run the report?

No, not natively through the API call to run the report.

You might be able to change parameters with dynamic default parameters. That would require you to update a dataset first.
