Value incorrect if two filters applied

I have a donut graph and the values it shows are correct.
However, if I drill-down, the total value it shows is not correct - and it’s not the same as the value shown for that portion.

I noticed the same problem on another visual if I apply two filters.

I have only one dataset (can’t be relationship issue), I have some calculated fields, but the issue seems to be there only if two filters are applied.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and how did you solve it?

HEllo @Al22,

Welcome to the QucikSight Community, it is great having you here.

Without looking at the data, visual configuration and calculated fields it is hard to come up with an answer, I have not faced issues with applying 2 filters in visualizations. Maybe this is related to LAC on your calculations?

If you could recreate your issue in a demo dashboard in Arena we can take a look at how your setup is workin.

Or paste some screenshots of your filters configurarions and visuals. It is also always useful to create a table visualization that shows the same fields used for the visualization to find out what is the impact of the filters in the calculated fields/aggregations.

Hope this helps!

Here’s my dashboard: dashboard_1

I created two graphs, the second one should show the same value as the first one when I hover on the chart.
And also, when I drill down, the total value is not correct.

The total of the second graph should be 104M, not 124M

Please let me know how I can share the dataset/analysis with you.

@Al22 ,

Question : In your dataset, for North America , for id 222 : Does it fall under the Two or Three bucket ? . There seem to values excluded when filtering is applied and I am not sure why.

If you look at the pivot table

under Three , HHH has a value for id 222

Now if we look at the table below

under Two , HHH has a value for id 32, 222 which does not exist in the pivot table.

Suspecting a data loading issue, can you reload and check. If the problem still exists, would recommend you log a support ticket so that they can debug further.

Kind regards,
Koushik

In my dataset 222 is in bucket Two for some snapshot_dates, and in bucket Three for other snapshot_dates. However, the is_latest “Yes” should filter out the Two bucket - each id has only one Yes value. I think I will need to log a support ticket

The issue was my calculated field, I changed from PRE_AGG to PRE_FILTER, and then it worked well.
