Employee keeps getting the issue that data isn’t loading for some visuals. Not sure if this is a quicksight problem or a computer problem. Has anyone had this issue before, and if so what was the solution?
Hi @HarveyB-B,
If this is happening only to one user for the same visual/dashboard then it might be computer related. You can try accessing the same visual/dashboard in another computer and see if the user gets the same problems and try to troubleshoot from there.
Do the visual always fail to load or sometimes? If this is a transient problem, maybe you need to check if other users are having the same issues at the same time and might point you to a different source of the problem.
If you still cannot find out what is happening, I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
Hope this helps!
Hi @andres007 , thanks for the fast response.
It’s only happening for one user on his laptop. It is happening across different datasets/visuals randomly, and sometimes stays like that for a couple days, before going back to normal. It only happens for one visual, so the other visuals in this dataset load fine. Once it’s fixed itself, a week later he comes back and says it’s happening again but for another report.
It is an on and off problem only one of our users are having, hence i think its an issue with his laptop.
I think this post is more for awareness instead of looking for a solution, so if anyone faces this issue it may be time for an upgrade in laptop/computer
