Hi Team,

I am unable to create datasheet, while creating datasheet getting below error
We weren’t able to create this data source. please help

Hi @hsl ,

Can you provide more information about the data source? Is it an AWS source like RDS or Redshift? Or is it a 3rd party like DataBricks or Snowflake?

I’ve seen this error when there is a networking or other subtle issue. Is there a clear network path from Quicksight to the datasource? Are they in the same region? And do you have the correct database name?

Also, you’ll want to make sure that the permissions are setup correctly. Go to ‘Manage Quicksight → Security & Permissions’ and in the top section, ’ QuickSight access to AWS services’, verify that the right permissions are set for any AWS datasources.
